On Saturday 16th November, Casualplay took part in a first aid workshop for parents, in collaboration with the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, a leading university hospital that is a benchmark for paediatric and obstetrics and gynaecology care, which uses advanced technology and is highly specialised.
This was a workshop where parents could learn what to do in the case of a respiratory obstruction, the first steps of resuscitation, what to do if a child receives a blow to the head or the main emergency cures. Casualplay gave very practical, specialised training on child restraint systems. At Casualplay, as designers and manufacturers of car safety seats, we want to combine all our effort and know-how with other organisms that work to improve children’s health to try and raise awareness of children’s safety in the car. The use of child restraint system is compulsory and can prevent 75% of deaths and 90% of injuries in a road accident. It is very dangerous to travel without a car safety seat, holding the child in your arms or sharing a seat belt with someone. An enjoyable session that was very useful and practical, according to those attending.
